Refund Policy

This policy explains when CAL IQ may offer refunds for technology services, project engagements, subscriptions, and related fees.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. General principle

CAL IQ is a service provider. Fees are generally tied to work performed, deliverables completed, or platform usage incurred. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and only when the conditions below are met.

A separate written agreement between CAL IQ and a client may override this policy for that specific engagement.

2. Project-based services

For fixed-scope projects, any refund depends on the stage of delivery and what has been completed at the time of the request. Work already delivered, accepted, or put into production is not refundable.

Deposits, setup fees, and payments for milestones that have been started are generally non-refundable unless the project is terminated by CAL IQ without cause or a material breach by CAL IQ remains unresolved after a reasonable cure period.

If a project is paused or cancelled by the client, CAL IQ may issue a partial refund for unstarted work, less any non-recoverable costs, third-party fees, or time already invested.

3. Subscriptions and recurring services

For subscription or recurring service plans, cancellation stops future billing. Refunds for the current billing period are only provided if the cancellation is made within the refund window stated in the applicable order, or if CAL IQ is unable to deliver the subscribed service for a material period.

Usage-based fees, overages, and third-party charges already incurred are not refundable.

4. Non-refundable items

The following are generally non-refundable: completed and accepted deliverables, custom code or configurations already deployed, consulting time already spent, third-party platform fees, domain or license purchases, and any fees paid to external providers on the client's behalf.

Non-refundable items may still be reviewed in exceptional circumstances, but CAL IQ is not obligated to refund them.

5. How to request a refund

Email info@cal-iq.tech with the subject Refund Request. Include your name, organization, service or project details, invoice or payment reference, and the reason for the request.

CAL IQ will review the request and may ask for additional information to verify the engagement and the basis for the refund.

6. Refund decisions and timing

CAL IQ aims to respond to refund requests within 14 business days. Approved refunds are typically returned through the original payment method within 30 days, depending on the payment provider's processing time.

CAL IQ reserves the right to offer account credits instead of cash refunds when appropriate.

7. Disputes and good-faith resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, contact us to resolve the matter in good faith. CAL IQ will review the circumstances and attempt to reach a fair outcome consistent with the engagement terms and this policy.

8. Changes to this policy

CAL IQ may update this policy from time to time. The latest version and effective date will be posted on this page.
